We have two...a plain yet significant image and a customized one.
By the way, before going further, I have narrated how the idea of Love from the Kitchen came to be on this link.
So, below you are looking at an image of the recipe that I have won in one of the online contests that I signed up to during the first lockdown. And if you are a Pinoy, you are probably familiar with 'Puso ng Saging' That is exactly what this recipe is made of. The term has literal translation of 'Heart of Banana" in English or others call it 'Banana Bell'. The final product was called "Crunchy Banana Heart Roll"!
The contest was about being creative plus Facebook likes. The goal was to prepare a healthy recipe (preferably gulay or vegetable)without spending that much. A picture of the finished product was posted on Facebook along with the recipe and the procedures to do it.
The idea of joining was not focused on winning but to simply share. Fortunately, despite the literally last minute submission, our entry still gathered hundreds of Likes and won a bag of rice for a prize. :D
So, it is the memory that I want to hold on to - the reason why I am using this image as an official logo/profile pic of our YouTube Channel and Facebook page and Favicon as well for this website. Again, if it's not for the lockdown, there would be no memory like this.
The second one below is something that I've got from a free online logo generator. Thanks to Logo Maker!
As mentioned in my previous post, I like to keep things simple, neat and clean when it comes to dressing up a website and it has been that way since. There's nothing much to say about the second logo actually except that I find it decent and relevant to the overall concept of the site.
