A good friend gave me a handful of dried squid (which happens to be my favorite) straight from a 'bagsakan'. Bagsakan in English is a place where goods from different point of origins are delivered.
In itself, dried squid would make an enjoyable snacks because when fried, its crisps resembles to that of cracklings; but since I am considering dinner at this point in time and I no longer eat rice, I just helped myself with some good buttered baked potatoes and some white onion to pair with my fried dried squid. White vinegar with garlic toasts is on the side for dipping too.
I do like how this dried squid is made. It is not salty and it's light-textured. It doesn't tear my gums. (LOL). Well some dried goods does but not this one. I can probably consume as much of this while having a movie marathon.
Have you guys ever tried dried squid? We'd love to hear your story too. Please feel free to comment them down below.
